Burris e1 reticle scope - Burris Fullfield II Ballistic Plex E1 4.5-14x42mm Rifle Scope

Having had good experiences with Burris platform, selected and paid for this one because the ad and other gun magazine articles gave impression reticle is red. It is black and floats in middle of fov, does not extend to the edges. Also, click adjustments, while very precise, are barely perceptible by feel and sound. However, the body is tight and well built; glass clear and really bright!; power range is great. It zero'd in tight and fast on my .270 WSM at 103 ranged yards and stayed on zero through all 40 rounds fired. Quality exceeds cost! Excellent tool.
Pros: Tough and tight. Clear and bright. Precise 1/4 MOA clicks. Excellent power range.
Cons: Reticle is NOT red and floats in middle of field of view.
