Great scope - Burris MTAC 1-4x24 mm Rifle Scope, 30 mm Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I spent considerable time looking for a good scope for my AR15 that would be good for both close in shooting and shooting out to 100-200 yards. I selected the Burris after a lot of research and I am extremely pleased. It is an excellent scope. I read all the reviews I could and want to add that so far (shooting in daylight conditions in a semi wooded area) I have not yet turned on the scope - I found it worked well with the reticle not on.... that said when I teseted it in dmmer light the lighted reticle worked very well. I showed the scope to other accomplished shooters and they all liked the scope a lot. I also bought the Burris quick detachable mount and it works very well. I took it off and on the rifle a few times and the point of impact remained the same. I am very pleased with both purchases and the service from Optics Planet has been/was excellent in every way.
