JLF's Review of Burris RT-5 Ballistic 5x Red Dot Prism Sight

I’ve always been a Burris fan and when this went on sale I decided I’d bite. I installed it on my 5.56. I actually like the scope for mid range work. It’s not the perfect magnification for all applications and would not recommend it as a primary tactical optic where close range shooting is a major focus (I.e. less than 10 yds) but for the range where this caliber excels (25-100 yds) it works great It’s bright and has the traditional 5.56 reticle with drop out to ca 600 yds.
