Love my Burris scope, but this cover doesn't reflect well on the brand. The cover is not even a week old and the edge seam is rapidly unraveling. I may return it for replacement or refund, but that's a bit of a hassle right now with so much to do before Christmas!

Stitching pops when streached
Does not stretch much. To get it over a 3-9x40 you have to really pull. I hear stiching pop.

Need at least 1/4" clearance
I initially thought this would be good since I don't like the flip up covers. First, it's just polyester fleece, there's nothing special about it. It's really just a dust cover. Second, it's rather overpriced for what it is. They should have thrown this in for free with my $400 scope. Lastly, my biggest issue, was that if you don't have at least 1/4" between the ends of the scope and the base it will not fit because of the trim that's sewn on around the opening. I tried cutting some of it off to see if I could make it work, but it really doesn't because of the seam inside. Not worth eating the return cost so I tossed it.

Burris Scope Cover
Excellent appearance and snug fit...would buy again. Don't Leave Home Without One!
I recently purchased a Burris FastFire Combo - MTAC 1-4x24 Rifle scope for AR platform rifle. I do a lot of shooting and was concern about protecting my investment. Although it doesn't come with one, I'd purchase this cover with the scope at the same time. On my last outing, I was teach my daughter to shot and as i was handing the rifle to her, she drops it right on top pf scope. Luckily for me this scope cover was still on my rifle and it protected the scope like a champ! No dents or scratches anywhere and the weapon stilled fire true. Don't live with potential regrets and purchase this scope cover. This was money well spent!!
