Veracity scope - Burris Veracity Rifle Scope w/ Ballistic E1 FFP Reitcle - 5-25x50mm

I recently purchased the Burris Veracity Scope 5x25-50mm. and mounted it on a Savage Varminter in 22-250. The scope is crystal clear from edge to edge, the focus adjustment is very smooth, as is the power adjustment ring. The crosshair fast focus ring is stiff enough not to move too easily, but easy enough to turn when adjusting for your eyes. As for the first focal plane reticle, it is easy to read and should be a big help when ranging and allowing for hold over. All it takes is a call to Burris Optics, tell them what bullet you are shooting and they will tell you exactly at which range each elevation crosshair will be zero. I haven't fired the rifle yet to test the results; however, the quality of this scope gives me great optimism that it will perform as advertised. The only minor complaint I have is that the clicks on the elevation and windage adjustments could be a little more positive.
