Overall a good bino, and meets my expectations quite well. However, it was slightly heavier than expected. Optics in low light conditions and looking towards sun at sunset are quite good.

Bushnell will not honor warranty
This has been a common theme in other reviews as well.

Great Binos
Bought these to replace an ancient set of binos I was given as a kid. They work great! Very clear FoV, easy to focus. Only thing I don't like is the lens covers. The eyepiece cover has to be secured by your neck strap or harness, vice a separate lanyard point. The fit of the lens covers could be better also. They don't fit snugly onto the binos. The objective lens covers fit into the recess of the casing. These do not stay in place very well. They pop out with the least bit of rubbing on clothing, etc. Otherwise, these are great binos, and a great value.

Great binoculars for the price-point
I was searching for a functional pair of binoculars for un upcoming Whitetail deer hunt without spending a ton of money. I saw these Bushnell 10 X 42 and gave them a try. Overall, I was very impressed with their clarity and brightness during low light situations. They are crystal clear and feel very sturdy. Their only drawback is that they are a slight bit heavy for carrying around the field all day, but nothing extreme. As with previous reviews, the attached lens covers (which are removable) do have a hard time staying closed, but that's not a big factor for me. I actually removed them. I highly recommend these binoculars.

Great Binocs
Very pleased with these binoculars! Side-by-side with a friend's Leupolds, they were as clear and sharp and felt easier to hold. Both my wife and I have them and we both are very satisfied. She uses hers for bird watching and says they are very easy to focus and have a wide enough field of view that she's not "hunting" for birds. I use mine for hunting and like the ease of focusing as well as the light weight.

Pretty Good
My new 10 X 42 XLT has superb Optics from 25 feet to infinity at the right Price? I would have rated a 5, but the lens caps fit loose and keep falling off.
I have written Bushnell and waiting reply on their poor design of lens covers.

Bushnell trophy xlt 10x42 good but let down by a simple fault
I really like the performance of these binoculars. They are well made and the optics are very good for the money. The one thing that would stop me buying another pair if given the opportunity would be those frustratingly bad designed front lens covers. They won't stay on no matter what and I personally think bushnell should be providing a free replacement for them. If you are a person who expects everything to be just right I would say buy something else. Come on guys sort this out or withdraw the product.

value for money
these are excellent binoculars.They have allowed me to stalk deer in almost complete darkness.excellent clarity and bombproof ruggedness in wet conditions here in ireland.
the only things that let these binoculars down are the objective covers and the eye cups.the front lens covers do not stay on.they are too loose.i had to replaced them with some spare ones i had.the eye cups rubber came away from the screwing mechanism.a bit of glue solved the problem but it was annoying as it happened while hunting.overall great binoculars at a great price and i would recommend them to anyone on a budget.
