Rugged Design, hefty, ergonomically correct and comfortable. The black and white picture is sharp edge-to-edge, and easy to focus, unlike the green screens which we are all too familiar. The video and still picture is great, and usable up to 8x10 inch prints (more if interpolated with software such as Photoshop). I bought mine for surveillance work, and it has worked out great. Unfortunately, like any night vision, the reticle gets blown out by passing headlights, but the recovery is quick. If you can afford the $3,000 dollar and up models out there, go for it. But, this unit outperforms all NVGs at hundreds more. I am outfitting all my stationary operatives with this NVG. Suggestion, bring extra batteries as this thing eats 4 AA Batteries in just a few hours of use.
