This binocular is the best by far in clarity and ease of operation than any night vision device I have ever used. I have several night vision scopes, monoculars, and thermal scopes. As I stated before, this is the best day night vision product I have ever used. The IR is extremely good, more than enough. I would highly recommend this product by Bushnell, they did good. Do not know about battery life yet, have not used it enough to run them down, seems to be ok. I am using lithium batteries.
