This is Bushnell's first "true" infrared flash trail camera - you cannot see a flash or glow from the illuminator when it's triggered. This makes it truely invisible to whatever is having it's picture taken. I use trail cameras extensively for deer scouting and have come to appreciate the new line of Bushnell's for their ease of use, lack of false triggers, great battery life and now the blacklight model. From my limited testing with this new model it performs as advertised and gives off no visible light in operation. This is important in keeping wary animals from knowing the unit is there (assuming you are keeping it scent free etc.) The field scan option is also a great tool to watch more than one trail in order to pin down the most active area you want to watch. Field scan will really become effective if Bushnell puts out home computer based software to manage the amount of pics it will be taking. This unit is one of the best blacklight models out there and for the price it's a heck of a buy.
Pros: True noflash infrared, fieldscan, small size & battery life
Cons: No PC software for Fieldscan
