JOE's Review of Bushnell AR Optics Advance Reflex Sight
I would LOVE this sight. Everything about it is GREAT except that it does not fit the Glock #1 plate for my Glock 19 as stated in the item description. I called Opticsplanet and they refered me to Bushnell. Bushnell was ZERO help. The problem is the 2 screws that hold the dovetail bar into the dovetail slot on the Glock #1 plate are only 1/16" off of the screw holes that are meant to hold the red dot to the mounting plate. The item description is wrong and no one cares. I have tried several mounting plates now and found nothing that will work other than spending another $250 to mill my slide. I now have a fantastic red dot in the box and my bank account is $170 lighter.
Pros:
- Excellent "red dot", battery life, brightness and price point.
- easy battery access
Cons:
- Does not fit Glock #1 plate as stated
Best Used for:
- Any pistol except Glock apparently
