The bushnell powerview 16 x 50 binnoculars - Bushnell Powerview 16x50 Binoculars

I'd give these NO stars if I was allowed...this is my SECOND pair of these binnoculars....we DO NOT use for "going hunting" or outside use...we live on a large acreage and want to be able to see parts of our property at the house...so they are properly cared for...now..given that...this is like I said, MY SECOND pair...which BOTH have had "double vision"...BOTH of them mind you...no they were not dropped, mishandled, etc.....so I contacted Bushnell whose response to "these are my SECOND pair"...who said, well if you had kept your first pair you could return them, and we'd either fix them or send another pair!! didn't know that....so...he said to return the second pair, they would either repair or send a new pair to replace them...right? so about a month later, we receive a letter saying the binnocs were not repairable, but they would SELL me a NEW pair for $57....(mind you that was over $25 MORE than what I paid for these, PLUS I paid $14 postage to return these!!).....they said, (when I immediately called them again), that there was DIRT, bits of leaves, etc in the lense areas!! OK...now that is just "bunk".....I argued...they were standing by their "technician"...so beware...your warranty on these...means ZIP....I'm purchasing a decent pair and they will NEVER be Bushnell again! How does DIRT/leaves enter the binocs when they were never utilized in such a manner, i.e., out hunting, camping, etc....crazy waste of time, money...the product/brand not worth going through this kind of treatment...NO WARRANTY HERE, save yourself the hassle and buy a better brand.
