I wanted a basic scope with no electronics. Something that worked as well at 1x as it did at 4x. And that's exactly what the scope is. Well built, durable, and holds at zero very well. The eye relief is absolutely incredible.
Pros:
- Eye relief and durability

I put this on my S&W mp15 and I am very impressed with the eye relief, solid construction, and lens clarity. It is a heavier scope but well worth the couple extra ounces. Make sure you use a good scope mount. There are a lot of scopes with lots of cool features like lighted recticle etc. But I will take a solid no frills scope over that any day.
Pros:
- eye relief
- Sturdy construction
- lens clarity

This is a great scope for CQB and medium range application. It compares very well in term of clarity and brightness to my Leupold 8.5-25x50 scope, Vortex HST 8-24x50 scope, and Sightron 8-32x56 scope. The 1x power is very so slightly more than 1x but still allows both eyes open view without eye strain. All stock photos and description from Bushnell website and Opticsplanet said the turrets adjustment is 1/2 MOA per click but in fact, the adjustment is 0.1 mil per click for both elevation and windage. Also, there are three small opposing set screws to hold the turrets in place and to reset them back to zero after sighting in. That again is not the same as in the photo shown as one screw on top of the turrets. Perhaps the scope I received, on 6/15/18, was the latest version. The turrets turn easily but not too loose that they get bumped off easily. Very generous and forgiving light cone (apparent field of view) your eye needs not be at one specfic distance from the eyepiece to see the entire view. The BDC reticle is easy to use. I always wanted to have a 1x scope for close range but my astigmatism wouldn't let me see any red dot as a well-defined dot even the $500-$800 red dot scope. The crosshair of the BDC reticle gives a good horizontal reference so I won't rotate my rifle out of horizontal and for that, a crosshair still beats a red dot in my book. I really think this is an excellent 1-4x scope especially for under $200.
Pros:
- Great low price with good quality.
- Very clear glass at all mag setting
- very bright at any magnification
- excellent 0.1 mil adjustment

This scope it very heavy. It is noticeably heavier than any other optic I have ever had the chance to handle. Hopefully this extra heft means that the scope is durable as I plan to use it for rugged pig hunting. Otherwise the optics seem okay, but the eye relief is not the best. I would look somewhere else if I were to buy again.

I have had no issues with this scope. Mounting only took a few minutes, and sighting it it was pretty simple. The only potential problem I see are the exposed adjustment knobs. If someone was careless in handling his rifle in transport, it seems possible that the knobs could be accidentally bumped and moved. I am very pleased with the scope overall.

Perfect for my philosophy of use and allows quick acquisition from near to far and therefore gives me availability in one unit. Both near and far it is clear and relief is reliable. This line of optics being made for specifically ar 15 type platform rifles gives a reliability and versatility and a sense of accountability due to the lifetime warranty through bushnell

Purchased for a 300 blackout build. Looks rugged. Glass is very clear. I really like the target turrets.
Price was right even on sale. Looking forward to our first 3 gun shoot. Mounted with Weaver mount, looks real good.

Couldn't be happier with product, price and shipping. Clear and great field of view. Shot at indoor range and outdoor. Crystal clear, even in low light.i would definitely recommend this product , and recommend using optics planet for all your optic needs.

I was looking for a intermediate scope for my SIG516. Bushnell has always been a leader in affordable quality optics and with the Bushnell AR scope, they didn't disappoint. Fit my application and I'm very satisfied with this scope. I would recommend this scope to a friend.

I just purchased the bushnell 1x4x24 for my bushmaster. If I put the windage and elevation knobs at a 90 degree angle just like every other scope I've mounted the reticle is crooked? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
