Bubby's Review of Bushnell Elite CONX Laser Rangefinder w/ Kestrel Sportsman Ballistics Weather Meter

Its really hard to beat the value you're getting with this product. Add a balistic calculator with all your environmentals needed to make long range shots. Applied ballistics is the leader when it comes to long range shooting science and they make it easy to make hits at 1000+. Especially if you're new to long range and using products like this, its the way to go. It may be a little overwelming trying to learn both systems of the kestrel and the rangefinder, but some quick Youtube searches and you can find step by step to get you shooting quickly. Both products will Bluetooth pair with each other and also to your phone. Making it easy to use all 3 without having to have all 3 right next to you...2 things i would suggest getting along with this...1) A camera tripod for mounting either one. ( the kestrel comes with a weather vane and holds the kestrel paralell with the wind to feed you real time updates, screws right into a tripod). Same with the rangefinder to get steady long range readings..2)The second item is not needed but makes precision easier..A set of digital calipers. To give you accurate scope height over bore measurements, and bullet diameters and lengths, etc. The more precision measurements you give the Kestrel the better..Data is only as good as what you put into it. Except for all the evironmentals and calculations, the kestrel will take care of that...Go with LINK version. It makes updating and connecting all 3 devices a breeze!
