Keep the optic, throw away the mount - Bushnell CQTS 1x32mm Red Dot Sight

I was happy with the quality of the OTPIC only. This is my second Bushnell red dot scope, and both had issues with the mount. I thought if I spent a little more on the upgraded Elite model the mount would not be an issue. Was I ever wrong! The mounts are out of spec and don't align properly with a picatinny rail. I ended up tossing the mounts in the trash and using a Vortex 30 mm mount, absolutely no issues. For the price you would think this would be a non-issue. Bushnell was helpful and replaced the mount on the first product although they gave me the "We've never heard of this issue before" and tried to blame it on my weapon rail being out of spec. WRONG!!! The piece of garbage they sent as a replacement went right in the trash as well since it was no better.

So if you are just looking for the optic, go ahead and spend the money, knowing you will need to supply a quality mount. Frankly, I think Burris or aim point would be a better choice, better optic and no issues with the mounts.
