Purchased this scope to use on my new Smith & Wesson .460 Magnum Rifle.........My previous scope did not fare so well with the extreme recoil that this cartridge produces.......So far the Bushnell Elite 3x10x40 has weathered the storm with no issues just as it is advertised to do........Yes I would recommend these optics for use on about any heavy recoiling firearm.
