Great scope but did not work out for me - Bushnell Elite Handgun 2-6x32 Multi-X 20" Eye Relief Pistol Scope

I was looking for scout rifle scope and spoke with Bushnell Customer Support specifically about this scope in that application as I had questions about the parallax distance and their description of the eye-relief as "extra-long 20 constant eye relief." Bushnell support insisted that this scope was appropriate with a parallax of 100-yards and eye relief from approximately 6 1/2" to 20".

Once in hand I found the eye relief to be approximately 15" to 20" which did not fit my application. As an additional note, this is a very compact scope and once the objective and eye bell length is accounted for plus the magnification ring, very little tube length is left for the rings. Depending on the application, there is not much length left to move the scope fore and aft in the rings.

This review is not to take anything away from the product quality as the Bushnell optics is outstanding. The scope might not fit your scout applications as related by experience.
