Exactly what i was looking for - Bushnell Elite Tactical Hunter 4.5-18x44mm Rifle Scope

You may be looking for something different, but this scope was exactly what I was looking for. I am a bit of a scope snob, not because I am independently wealthy but because I follow the "buy once, cry once" rule. As such, the majority of my scope are in the $1000 + range depending on what application I am needing them for. With this particular scope, I wanted a mid level magnification, FFP, illuminated reticle, and a reticle with a circle and cross hairs for faster acquisition at low power. For anyone who has used FFP scopes you know that the crosshairs at minimum power almost disappear, especially when placed on dark objects and/or in the gloom of the woods. This scope is a perfect combination of everything I wanted and needed, and I got it on sale so it didn't break the bank. The quality of glass is excellent and all the controls have distinct clicks. I like the capped windage knob and the zero lock on the elevation knob. Again, the perfect all-around scope in options and magnification for backwoods hunting and shooting. This may well be the first scope I have never had "buyers remorse" over! Again, just an excellent all-around good "do everything" type of scope, and if you can get it on sale, DON'T HESITATE! You won't regret it!
