First impression is not too good, looks huge, but it is not, looks heavy but it is not. That is because of the 80mm lense that gives that "big" appeal. Compared and measured with my old and cheap 20-60x60 it is almost same in lenght and weight. Also works much better. Eyes dont get tired. Dawn light well transmitted. Images clear and bright. Focus knob is tight and keeps image in place while refocusing (some spotting scopes have this problem). Did not verify yet but really looks water and fog proof. Intended for range use only, it meets my expectations. Fits in my backpack where the old spotting scope used to be. Dont need to take anything out. Tripod is light, looks like could not hold the scope safely. Will use old metal tripod.
Pros: High definition, nice softcase !
Cons: Bad tripod. Hardcase useless.
