A friend bought this spotter and I just checked it out. The star test shows perfect centering, good SA3 correction, no astigmatism or coma, and pretty decent ED color correction. The erector systems appears to be lenses so there's more image distortion than a normal prismatic spotter - this doesn't bother me but be aware of that aspect. The image is high contrast and sharp from 20X-60X. I'd say the color aberration is one third of a normal achromatic spotter. The eye interface is a little tough because of the tight baffling and geometric distortion. Lateral color is greater than normal too. What that means is the object of interest should be centered in the field, and the eye needs to be carefully centered too.
All in all I was impressed with the level of optical performance, which is comparable (or better!) to ED scopes costing considerably more. The mechanical "feel" is solid enough but doesn't compare to a true high end spotter. I think Bushnell has a winner here.
Pros: ED color correction, nice wavefront
Cons: field distortion
