About average with room for improvement - Bushnell DX 6x21 G-Force Rangefinder

Product is a good value all things considered. The maximum range for a non reflective target (such as deer) seemed to be rather optimistic. Seems to be ideally suited to ranging deer sized targets at under 300 yards.

Beyond 300 yards/meters I found the holdover calculator to be next to useless. The holdover feature did not match (within +/- 3") of any "popular" factory ammunition. Data provided on website and contacting Bushnell directly was of little help. Ballistic calculator is not user programmable and does not provide any data on windage.

For my next rifle hunt I'll wind up leaving the unit set on "bow" mode and carrying a range card for my hold overs and windage holds.

If Bushnell simply published the bullet weight, ballistic coefficient, velocity and atmospheric conditions used to develop each holdover chart it would vastly improve the function of the feature.
