Merrill or John's Review of Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x25mm Binoculars

I love buying and using binos. I admit I used to be an addict. I've got many pair in the $500 -$1000 dollar range from, Nikon, Zen Ray, Eagle Optics, Vortex, Pentax and even a pair of Swarovski. I got these Legend compacts about 4 years ago and I use them on my daily hikes in the mountains where I live as they are so light and easy to carry. I think these give some of the best views I've seen and for the money they are truly amazing. I enjoy using them as much as my full sized binos and do not feel I'm being shortchanged when I don't have the full sized ones with me. That's saying a lot. I find them very bright and very clear almost to the edge. They are very nice for looking long distances across mountain valleys. They are very light, very compact, sturdy, and waterproof with a bulletproof warranty. The case is junky and came apart with very little usage and they have no lens covers at all. That's about the only cons. I'm tempted to buy a spare pair to keep in my car. And the truth is I've never paid much attention to Bushnell binos, considering them mostly junk unless you buy the most expensive ones they make. Now I know better. I think these are a true best buy in compact binoculars. I wish they also made them in 8x25.
