JEM's Review of Bushnell Prime 1-4x32 Rifle Scope
The 1x-4x magnification range is perfect for use on a rimfire plinking rifle, AR style rifle, or close and medium range hunting rifle. Unfortunately, the description of the scope does not tell the recommended recoil level which it can handle. The scope delivers a bright clear image that is pretty sharp except at the edge of the field ( a common problem in this price range.) The click adjustments work well and seem to hold the zero well during shooting.
A scope in this power range is most useful on a light, fast handling rifle. But the scope is unnecessarily long and heavy for this type of scope. The long rear eyepiece makes for limited mounting options when mounting on a rifle with a short receiver, thus making it more difficult for some users to mount the scope far enough forward to see the full field of view. The adjustment knobs are unnecessarily tall. This can be handy when target shooting at the range, but they just get in the way for a scope mounted on a rifle for carrying in the field.
No protective scope caps were provided.
Overall very good quality for a scope in this price range.
