Most Helpful Positive Review great optic for my intended use
Using it on a medium-range 5.56 for coyote/deer. Very accurate, holds zero, and the DOA reticle is very useful. The points of impact at various ranges do not match the tick marks exactly, but since the scope covers a variety of calibers, it was to be expected. Once I learned the proper POA for the 5...

Most Helpful Negative Review Bushnell-Worst Customer Service Ever
I bought this scope through Optics planet and had it professionally installed on my new Browning X-Bolt. I zeroed the scope at 100 yards on a lead sled and put it in my hard gun case for three days before deer season. Opening day shot at a 6 point buck 75 yards away, took my time and shot 6 feet ove...

Only issue is Eye Relief

by Jesse, from TN, United States Written on November 26, 2018
Mounted on a savage .243 this scope does the job dialed in at 100 yards. My only complaint is Eye Relief is better on my $70 centre point than this scope. Other than that it's a good one, maybe better for guns with less kick?
Pros:
  • Holds zero
  • Easy to mount
  • Great low light
Cons:
  • eye relief

A little early for complete review

by M Dennis Farr, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on September 6, 2016
I just mounted this on my .308 Rem 742, and completed 50 yard laser bore sighting. Visiting range will not be complete until mid September; but so far 5 stars for clarity of optics, and an AWESOME DOA 600 reticle. I purchased this after finding a 1989 Bushnell Banner 6-18x50 scope online for my Ruger M77 .308, and IT IS AWESOME. Stay tuned for a review update after visiting the range.

As with all Bushnell's I have purchased, used & borrowed, this is a great product, especially for the price. I try to use quality products but p0rice is always a consideration. I would recommend this, definitely.

Scope purchase

by Richard, from ND, United States Written on August 4, 2015
This is the first Bushnell scope in a long time (25 years). Much has changed in quality. The glass is excellent and the adjustments for W and E are precise. Overall the scope looks great as the finish is well done. I would however find something to add to the purchase rather than the flip u0p scope covers. The term useless comes to mind. Luckily they are removable.

Good scope for a .308 Win rifle

by SNPN, Verified Owner from France Written on February 17, 2015
I mounted this scope on a Marlin X7VH .308 Winchester for range shooting (100/200 yds).
Hold zero despite the high recoil.
The DOA600 is nice but mildot would have been better.

Best value for this (reasonable) price !
Pros:
  • Quality
Cons:
  • No mildot

Very Pleased

by Jeb2357, from MD, United States Written on January 27, 2015
I own several air rifles, Beemans, Air Force, etc. but I found a Gamo for a good price so I thought I would try it. It came with a scope. Of course, that scope broke in short order from the violent recoil of the Gamo Fusion Pro. I purchase another scope that was supposed to hold up to the recoil and it too failed too after about 5 shots (would not adjust vertically). Now I have Bushnell XLTs on all of my other air rifles and they have served me well for years so goodness knows why I would deviate. I mounted this scope on the Gamo and it zeroed right in after I installed a droop picatinny rail to compensate for the barrel droop of the rifle. Nice clear optics, I like the DOA Reticles and the scope is holding up just fine to the reverse recoil of the spring piston. I recommend Bushnell scopes to all my air rifle shooting friends. Be careful to buy the Bushnell XLT or above Bushnells for magnum spring-piston rifles. Not they are bad scopes but the Bushnell Banners or lower are just not manufactured to hold up the reverse recoil of magnum air rifles. Found this out with a Beeman R-9 several years ago.
Pros:
  • effective
  • Priced well.
  • clearity
Cons:
  • lense caps are nice but usless
Best Used for:
  • multiple applications

Michigan hunter

by Rico, from MI, United States Written on August 31, 2014
The price was reasonable. I was not expecting to arrived too soon. I mounted my scope to my AR 15, zeroed in at 100 yds.
First bullet hit too low adjusted elevation still an inch low. The third bullet hit bulls eye just 1/4 left from center compensated it because of wind hit bulls eye again. Kept on shooting target the grouping was amazing. I highly recommend this product.

Bushnell Trophy XLT 4X12X40 600DOA

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on January 4, 2014
I put this scope on a TC Venture 270WSM and used it to replace a Nikon prostaff that I exchanged once and even the second one wouldn't stay zeroed. This scope blew me away with clearer image , more adjustability , and olds dead zero on an MOA rifle with no worries .
Pros: Really great optics and quality for the $

one happy mini 14

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on February 12, 2013
nice scope, seems to me to have good light transmission, good light picking up at dusk, and i really like the doa feature, which allows you to have a no knob turning bullet drop compensator. i don't know if i can say the name of the other scope i have from another company, but they also have this type of a deal. but they have a ballistics calculator so you can plug in your specific ammo and work up a dope sheet specific for the specific ammo you are using, very cool. looking at the 2 scopes side by side the gradation appears to be the same so i used the program for the bushnell to work up a dope sheet for it as well. bushnell, this would be a HUGE plus towards customer service.
question is, would i recommend this scope? yes, yes i would, so far it's been good for me.
Pros: clear glass, good light transmission
Cons: none so far
