I shopped around for a spotting scope in the 15X45 power range and found that this scope was well received by recreational shooters. Optics Planet had the best on-line price so I took a chance. I am very pleased with this scope, the optics are clear, focus adjustment fine, size/weight good, excellent multi-use tripod, and comes in a very nice hard case and included soft case. I don't think you could find another spotting scope package of this quality for anywhere near the price.
