The tripod and connecting hardware is very light which allows

- caring case extremely well built
- scope soft zipper bag well made
- lens quality very good
Cons:
- Focus ring too stiff
- tripod and related adjustment too light
- difficult to put scope in zipper bag
Best Used for:
- indoor use for bird watching
