I use this scope to predator hunt with and it is an exceptional scope for the money. I have ranged live coyotes in a field as far as 760 yards while running away. I also really like the scan feature that this scope has that constantly "Pings" the target to update range. This is really nice if you have a coyote running away that is about to stop. You can have the bullet corrected and in the air as they come to a stop.
Frankly, I will never own another scope that doesn't have rangefinding built in. It is nice to have it there when needed, and not something else to carry to the stands with me. No need to range everything around me and then remember and guess where my target might be.
It is a 2 step process.
-Press range button. (Correct turret if needed, I don't use that since it is also mildot.)
-Pull trigger.
I do wish it used more common batteries though instead of the CR2s. They will last about 3 days in cold weather of all day hunting.
Never the less, well worth the money.
Pros: Rangefinder is much better than any handheld, Interchanging turret lets you fine tune to your load.
Cons: Optics are a little darker around the top due to range display, about like the blue tinted sunshade on a car windshield at the top. Sometimes will turn on in bright sunlight because of IR receivers.
