Purchased this a week ago and I was very impressed on the quality of this unit. On a moonlit backyard I was able to see up to 50 feet very clearly. With the IR light on, I could see about 75 feet with good contrast and the IR make things stand out. I have installed on a Fast Bump helmet with Rino mount with a Jbar and it works great. I have a Firefield Gen 1 dedicated NV rifle scope on my AR15 in .300 AAC and together with the NVG Ghost Hunter, I own the night. Zombies beware I'm ready for you..

Ok, you own an AR15, you want to make it like our soldiers M4 in the US military. So you look at an Aimpoint, EoTech or ACog, but the sticker shock slams you into reality. These cost as much or more than the weapon you're putting them on. So you ask yourself this question what can I do to get a good set of optics that won't break the bank. Welcome to the Strikefire II in OPMOD FDE. Truly a solid performer and affordable to boot. I own two now, level I and now level II. I also own an Aimpoint ML3 and EoTech but after building a 3rd then 4th and 5th AR, I just couldn't justify the cost of those high end military Red Dot for civilian uses. So if you want rugged dependable Red Dot that works on 22LR, 5.56 and .300 AAC Blackout recoil, the StrikeFire II has it all. OpticPlanet has it in FDE (I got this one) and it looks very nice with an AR with FDE furniture. Vortex also fixed the power switch from the side to the back and caps that snap and open with ease (thank you Vortex for listening to your customers). You can't go wrong guys.. Get them.
