I received the NexStar Evolution 8 as a gift from my Brother in Ohio on Jaunary 21, 2015. Thanks Greg! I can not speak highly enough about the construction of the Scope, mount and tripod - Excellent! I expect nothing less from Celestron. I am using the app SkySafari 4 plus on my android phone and have no problem connecting to the scope's wifi. Objects are clear and awesome looking through any eyepiece I use. The only issue I have is there are so few nights this time of year in NW Alabama that are clear. I can't wait for Spring! This is a scope I never thought I would be able to own. My Children, who are grown and even my two Grandsons. the few times we have been able to go out and observe, love it!
