Got the black wash 0566BW Hinderer with a S35VN blade. Smooth quick opening, great metallurgy, secure gripping, good design for daily carry with deep pocket clip and thin design. I never use the thumb stud to open the knife since it has the flipper. I wish KAI would make the exact same knife with a partially serrated knife. Made in the USA.

I ordered the black Leatherman Wave with Molle sheath. This is my 4th purchase of a Leatherman Wave. Though they are a bit pricey, they are very useful. Favorite features are the locking blades and the sissors. This particular Leatherman came over-oiled and took a bit of time to clean (issue for Leatherman to solve). Because of this cleaning issue, I now prefer the stainless steel finish over the black finish. Accurate order placement and on time delivery by OpticsPlanet.

Have only worn it once for sporting clays. I loaded it down with a box of 8 shot in each pocket and it was comfortable both from a weight distribution and temperature standpoint. It appears to be solidly constructed. Though it comes with interior chest pockets for pads, the pads have to be purchased separately. The pockets are designed to hold Browning #309002 Reactar recoil pads. The are pockets on both right and left sides where you would mount your shotgun. On time delivery from OpticsPlanet.

I got the green laser version model Lasermax Spartan SPS-C-G from OpticsPlanet and mounted it on a full size 45. Best features are: 1. Laser is up as close to the barrel as possible. 2. Unit uses a single AAA battery. 3. The light has a diffuser and is sufficient to provide enough light indoors to identify and sight in a target 10-15 yards away. 4) The green laser is bright enough at night that the light is almost unnessary. 5) the mounting bracket is secure and the laser unit and laser did not shift or drift after 200 rounds of 230gr. 6) This is the most compact laser/light combo that I could find. The key issues are: 1) The clamping screws have to be backed out to replace the battery. 2) The laser would occasionally turn off and on by itself while firing. 3) The rail vise positioner was a little tricky to deal with while mounting the unit. Overall, an excellent purchase. It would be great if Lasermax designers can iron out the issues on their next model. As usual, accurate order fulfillment and on time delivery by OpticsPlanet.
