Can definitely feel the difference when compared to the factory trigger

Only real issue I had
It was very difficult to move the pin for the trigger. Housing almost crushed the aluminum trigger

apex trigger

I got a smith & Wesson 2.0 carry comp polymer

The factory trigger is a performance center trigger

I shot it first time and I thought for a performance trigger it felt off

Iooked at a couple reviews and they referred to the performance center trigger to be “ mushy”

Then I looked at peoples experiences with the apex . Then i looked at the price $170
For a trigger

So $170 later and like I’ve already read in some comments
Can tell a big difference between the two
Much crisper cleaner feel

I would do it again …

Well like someone already mentioned
Gotta check to see if your charging handle clears the cheek riser other wise you’re metal handle will
Hit your plastic cheek rest

There is no direction or instructions that say anything about making sure you check

And the reason I knew was reading another review

You can move the cheek rest back by taking out the hex screws

Defeats the adjustable cheek rest purpose
If you have to worry about your charging handle hitting it

I sent mine back
And plan to go with the magul prs gen 3

Without firing my gun
I pulled the charging handle back
The charging handle I bought hit the cheek rest

You can fix the problem by taking the cheek rest off completely

Taking the hex screws out (there are two that hold the plastic bracket in )
And moving the cheek rest back

I had to move mine back two positions in order to make sure my charging handle didn’t hit the cheek rest

Two huge problems with this are kind of obvious

1
The instructions don’t say anywhere

You may want to make sure your charging handle clears

Because if you don’t it will slam into the cheek rest
And have a huge potential to cause injury
And you know lawsuit happy people

2
if you have to move the cheek back in order to make sure your charging handle clears

That takes away adjustability
Of the cheek rest

Some people spend well over $100 “specialized” on AR tools
Which I think is absolutely unnecessary

It’s pretty well a standard lower parts kit
Would hope for a little more being a 65$kit
But it appears that’s just the industry standard
