My Ruger is a sheep in Wolf's clothing!!

What can you do to up the entertainment factor of a Ruger 10/22? Accessorize the heck out of it and it'll make the perfect faux tactical rifle. OK, we're never going to war with a 22 cal. carbine, but with a banana mag, a tac quad rail, a good red dot, light and laser- you suddenly look very mean, even if you can't consummate the marriage! I did all this and more to my wooden stock 10/22 including the rare addition of a tubular FN FAL bayonet. Did you know that it fits snugly and securely to certain muzzle devices, and is the perfect contrast with the Quad Rail. Form over function wins the prize with this modest rifle.

This series is extremely versatile

Relatively low-cost barrel-mounted bipods are not easy to locate, except in the Leapers UTG range of economy barrel mounted bipods, which fit a range of uses, and are the simplest of all units to fit or remove. I just don't get the machinations of the stud-mounted types or the other variations. Just stick it on your barrel, tighten it up and go. That's better!

Tac laser at lo-cost

Compare this little unit with many others and the quality versus cost equation puts it in the winner's circle. Typical UTG quality, if anything goes wrong they'll replace it. Trying to distinguish between the many Chinese manufactured red/green lasers is tough, so you might as well rely on the brand pushing it. Compact, ready to mount and inexpensive.

Good quality compact sight...

Good lo-profile back-up iron sight, which fits under a red-dot on a riser. It says .22, but I don't see why it couldn't be used on an AR or AK. Perhaps others know more. NIce quality for the price. Another UTG winner.

Another handy and high quality UTG accessory. Although there are many options for sling swivels, and some are truly industrial quality heavily engineered pieces, the compact, inexpensive and well-made UTG sling swivel is just what I needed- at the right price, with the appropriate sturdiness.
