This two point rifle sling is great for carrying your rifle any time you are walking and it makes a great hasty sling for shooting. This sling is apparently
made of quality leather and the workmanship is second to none. I needed a sling to dedicate to my latest bolt action rifle, even though the rifle is black steel, aluminum, and a polymer stock this sling looks right at home on the rifle.
I had an order for this brass for over two years! I don’t blame Optics Planet because no one else had it in stock either. Hornady seriously fell short on production of this caliber brass. The brass that I had for use came from loaded ammunition. I have used this brass in my reloading and found that I can get up to five reloads before the primer pocket loosens up to be unusable. I plan on purchasing more of this brass once it is in stock.
Let me start with a qualifier. Due to the Ammo shortage my experience with this trigger has been with a limited number of rounds so I can not attest to the durability of this trigger, but the design has been tested by other trigger systems and the hardened A2 tool steel has a good reputation. I take Airborn Arms at their word for reliability.
Read more about review stating Chrisp!I have at least 4 other brands of drop in triggers in other MSR firearms. I love the Hiperfire for their Camover feature which makes using 22 LR conversions in 5.56 AR's very reliable, but their triggers are a bit spongey. I have a lower that I use for for precision long range shooting and I have this AA Geronimo trigger system in this lower. Each time I use it I am impressed with the "glass break" crispness of this trigger break. The forward setting of the trigger position is something else that I really like. If you are looking for a trigger that will allow you to extract the maximum accuracy from your MSR look no further than this trigger. This single stage trigger will not disappoint you.
Great quality all around the one I got did not have the titanium levers that I thought I was getting. The quick release lever on the rear would not lock down due to the case deflector stoping it before it could lock. I ended up flipping the levers and it worked fine.
This Burris AR-P.E.P.R. Scope Mount has proven to be my favorite mount for my flattop AR-15 rifles. The height and eye relief work very good for my setup. It is very important to make sure that all 12 screws are torqued evenly to prevent any lighter torqued screws from backing out. I speak from experience on that matter as I got some scope shift until I started using a torque wrench to snug all 12 screws down. I have been completely satisfied once I learned that lesson. The short rail sections on top of the rings have proven to be very handy.
I am mostly using 1x5x24mm scopes and a compact laser sight on my 5.56 AR’s and didn’t need any other sights, however recently I got a Laser Genetics NS300 light. The light came with a mount to be used on a one inch scope tube. My scopes have 30mm main tubes and I could not mount the light as it came. I had a Daniel Defense flashlight mount and attached the light to the rail on the forward scope ring and everything aligned perfectly. This system is much lighter than the Laser Genetics adjustable light mount. My son uses a P.E.R.P mount with a 3x9 scope and a mini reflex sight on the rear scope ring, this gives him sights for close up to the maximum usable distance for his AR. I like this mount, that is why I own several.
