Well made but.....

This sling is well made and does stay in place. That's where it ends. The 3 point sling I received was different from the picture. Instead of OD green I received a bright metallic green. Quick release slide was missing and replaced with a buckle. I think I received somebody's return. The sling itself is like a parachute harness, very easy to tangle up in. Securing a sling with Velcro over time the Velcro will fail in exetreme conditions. Field stripping Mini 14 would require removing the front wrap around. I would stick with a 2 point bungee sling and replace the factory sling swivels on a Mini 14 than use this sling. Good enough for a weekend warrior or key board commando but in the real world this will get you killed. Stick with a simple 2 point sling.
