BlackHawk Nightedge Fixed Blade Knife
I have 2 of these Blackhawk knives and an original MOD. The MOD is the best. This knife is good regarding steel, grind and sheath. The handle is too thin, way too thin. I have an FDE version and the handle is correct but the steel sucks (very soft), the grind seems to have been done by one person on the left side and a different person with a different idea on the right side. The sheath is horrible - plastic and rattle-city.
So, acceptable knife, improved sheath, but wear gloves for extended use of the knife.

Benchmade 173 Mini SOCP Fixed Blade Knife
This is not a cheap, Chinesium knife yet, it has ALL of the hallmarks of a really cheap Chinesium knife.
--The edges were not sharp. The point was very pointy so that is good but, the edges were ground roughly and were not sharp.
--The retention clip. I tried this in gym shorts up to heavy pants and the sheath always came out with the knife--REALLY inconvenient.
--I carried it for a few days and the clip detached from the sheath. The bushings came out of the sheath.
--Returned it to Optics Planet using their label and UPS and I am still waiting for that refund.

Benchmade Mini SOCP Fixed Blade Knife
I had considered buying the same knife on Amazon much more cheaply as a knockoff. But I wanted American made quality. I got a piece of garbage. Genuine Benchmade with the edges sharpened sufficiently for no more than hard butter. The point was pointy I'll give them that. Every time I try to draw it as intended and designed the sheath came out with the knife. I tried several different types of pants and shorts with different thicknesses of cloth and was disappointed with this attaching method completely.

I bought a lesser product that was slightly heavy AND noticeably less precise at 100 yds. Well finished, installs as expected, and performs very well despite very light weight.

Semi-good take on the Old GI angle head flashlight

The price for this high lumens flashlight is very reasonable. I wanted this for when I walk at night on our streets (no side walks) so that I can let on coming traffic know where I am. Standard lights of this type have a switch on the tail making it a pain to switch the light on and then rotate my arm /wrist /hand to shine the light quickly where I need it. The switch works well, the snap link is great and clip is a bit stiff and a pain to clip onto anything.
Only whine is that it is a tad less comfortable in my hand than hoped due to the swell around the head of the light.

As with all ADM products, the manufacturing and materials are top notch. The flaws are in the design and in the data not provided about the product. Design: the detent that holds the magnifier in place is relatively weak so it is semi-floppy; not nearly as positive as the mount by EOTech which pivots differently.
Data not provided: I was unable to find out how high the ring center line is above the rail so all I could do was guess which one to buy. Come on! How stupid is this to avoid disappointing a customer?!
