My streamlight died after about 20 years and one factory rebuild. I didn't want to spend a fortune for a replacement and I have always been impressed by Pelican products. I believe this model may be discontinued. The charging set up seems a little frail, but has not caused a problem yet. It is actually easier to insert the light in the charger than the more formidable spring clamp based holders. The light is very bright and I like the switch. No fumbling around to find the switch in the dark. What I like the best is that the light is not a symmetrical tube, so I can set it down and worry less about it rolling off the bench or table and falling onto a concrete or tile floor. I notice the batteries are not the typical recharging kind and don't know how they will hold up. I am generally quite happy with this.
