Quality Stock

Written on Nov 27, 2024

Stock is great but I just would have preferred a metal cheek riser option with a pad on top.

Works as Advertised

Written on Nov 27, 2024

Works as advertised. However I wish it were just a hair longer so it was the same length as a standard tang. Using this, the tang sticks past the mount by maybe 1/4inch. This may not seem like a big deal but if you use a folder that needs to “pull up” the tang blocks the mechanism. Thus forcing you to flip the mount and fold ejection side instead and now “push down” to fold.

very fast reticle. bad battery lifep

Written on Apr 10, 2020

Would I recommend this, yes. Would I use this for shtf, no. This is the perfect optic for a set mission. In my opinion the best optic where battery life does not matter. I would not use for home defense or for shtf but if you had a set mission with a spare set of batteries it couldn’t not be beat.

good concept woth poor execution.

Written on Apr 10, 2020

Went with acog acss bc of the weight and reputation but the reticle wasn’t clean for me. The lines and dots were thin and tiny, I mean tiny tiny. Unless the background was perfect contrast, you were stationary and the target was stationary as well good luck using the bdc or lead dots. Also the right hash marks in the reticle are blurry which I guess is normal but still annoying. Also at close ranges sometimes the entries etched reticle would blur and become non existent..... overall was not impressed.

aluminum over polymer aggressive and durable

Written on Apr 10, 2020

Beats polymer any day. Aluminum checkered should be the standard. Sticks in your hand very well and adds a ton my extra durability. Plastics are relevant today because their cost effective, a good quality metal is always the way to go if you are willing to spend a little more.
