Was easy to install and fit and finish was excellent. 4 Stars because I don't know how it will hold up under extensive use.

Magpul is a quality product I have used for years, this product is no exception. The rounds feed smoothly and quickly, mags lock up and release as they should. Of course I want them to be less expensive.

Have 3 of them and they are great, 45 years+ shooting. Have many different scopes. Ran a police supply and was a tactical officer over 20 years. Also own 2 lpvo from them. Clear glass, work great. I don't understand the comments about wasting $, as these are warrantied and a simple phone call would have resulted in a new replacement? If you shoot and want a great product, don't hesitate. I'm thinking about buying 2 more and don't need them, just because the price is so good.

Compensation works by diverting gases through the ports creating a jet of gas pushing the barrel down. This usually reduces the rearward pressure on the slide, causing unreliable functioning. Stovepipes and failure to feed in some handguns. Reduce your recoil spring by 1-2 # will normally correct the problem. I have done this with 3 handguns and returned them to 100%reliability. 2 1911's and a G19c. I had no issues with full power loads after the reduction in spring power. 20 years Tactical team and ran a police supply company.

The horse shoe reticle makes quick target acquisition and sweeping plates very easy. Don't worry about the the Chevron. I have found if the target is in the shoe, it's a hit for you. People complain about the small Chevron. I shoot 1000's of rounds a year and this sight is deadly at cqb. Out to 50 yards hitting 1/2 silhouette's and plates is simple and very fast. I had a carbine with the same sight and a magnifier. Just adjust the sight, then align the magnifier and focus the magnifier. Don't mess with the sight. If you do it this way, when you flip the magnifier away, your PA prism will still be dead on. Then flip back dead on also. My prizm on my house gun has been on for over a year and is very bright, so the battery estimates seem legit.
