Ozonics Windtracker Clip Strip
SO, this is embarrassing. I'm in retail. I should have known better but I just didn't notice. A clip strip is the plastic dodad you see at WM or wherever that holds 6-12pcs of the same item for sale. This is not one Ozonics Windtracker, but a fully loaded clip strip of 12 individual Windtrackers. Keep that in mind when ordering this. You'll have plenty of extras for friends and family. Just in time for stocking stuffers! And I haven't tried these in the stand yet, but just stepping outside and letting a few fibers go into the wind is much more telling than a puff of powder as you can watch the fibers for quite a ways to see what the wind does after a couple of feet. Pretty cool and should be very handy in about 11 days, not that I'm counting!

I bought these boots based on my experiences with previous Salomon products. So far, I'm happy I did.
The laces are a little stiff the first couple of lace ups but they break in pretty quick. They do lace up very comfortably without much adjustment. The lowers look brand new after three weeks of fairly rough wear.
During the three weeks I've owned these boots, I've used them for IDPA, hiking in the woods tearing down tree stands, and generally just wearing them around. They're comfortable and rugged for getting around in the woods but don't hold me back if I'm sprinting and shooting. If they wear long term like my other Salomon shoes, this will be a fantastic pair of boots!
