Best Red Dot for Me
I've fully bought in to the C-More red dot system. Its a great optic and the fastest device to get on target. I like the 4 MOA version and I'm not particular on the switch. I also like the polymer frame. That said, I am a range shooter, but without a doubt it would be great for self defense. The only drawback is the number of slots required to mount the device. It's not suitable for a pistol but its great for a pistol caliber carbine type device. I own two C-More Railway red dots as well as at least half a dozen others including Sig Romeo, Vortex Sparc, Holosun, and Aimpoint. I'm not sa...

These are the fastest target aquisition red dots available. The gold standard for steel challenge.
As always the best quality with no issues. The multiple dot module let you tailor the dot size to your present needs. These will save you moneyin the long run. Switch the dot size without having to buy another sight.

C-More is the preffered standard for competition shooters
If you have ever been to a competition match looking at the sights on guns you will see 1 prevail over all others. Whether its a Pistol or Rifle C-Mores are the most common. There is a reason for this, C-More provides a light alternative that has exceptional visibility when trying to quickly acquire targets. While there are some lighter sights out there, those typically are only used on carry optics style weapons. C-More sights typically have variable adjustments to brightness even though the newer click switch models only provide minimal adjustments. This is particularly useful when moving from sunny, over cast, and indoor environments. The only down side to this sight is battery life. Optics Planet ships fast and will work with you if problems arise.
Pros:
- Price
- visibility
Cons:
- Battery Life
Best Used for:
- competition

The perfect red dot
I love the C-more railway red dot. I purchased two, one for a .22lr pistol and one for a M&P 15-22. I use both for speed steel and this sight far surpasses the tube type red dots I was using before. Fast, accurate to get on target. Sturdy, well build. I purchased the 8 moa and it works perfect. Planning to buy another one with a 6 moa to put on a PCC for 3 gun.
Pros:
- Quality and reliability
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- anything

Best Competition Optic
Nice, lightweight optic. Mounted on a Ruger 22/45 Lite. Dot is crisp and the tubeless design does not obstruct your view while transitioning from target to target. Available in several different MOA dots to meet your preference. I prefer the 8 MOA.

- competition

Cmore optic
Have used it now a bit and am much more happy with this over the vortex. I will say it's a little bit of a challenge to get dialed in but is solid once u get it. Read the instructions out of the box as there are several locking screws that must be paid attention to when zeroing in.
