Fitting issue - CAA AK47 Picatinny Handguard Rails System - Complete Set

I was excited to get this handguard set from opticsplanet, the quality of the handguard is superb, tough but, a bit on the heavy side. However, I was disappointed after I am trying to install it
These are the summary of the issues
1. The upper handguard is not as described in the picture (not a LHV-47T gen 1)
2. The upper handguard (LHV-47T gen 2 ) does not have one extra rail space in the front like the gen 1. That extra rail space could use for mounting a tactical flashlight.
3. The standard AK 47/74 variants gas tube front cap overhang to back cap overhang is approx.10-10.1cm the gen 2 upper handguard's actual body is approx 10.2cm in length, and with overhang (overall length without the top rail) is approx 11cm. It really depends on your gas tube variants, some fit some does not. In my case it does not fit.
4. The lower handguard rails are in the way of the hand grip pos. Do not install it. And it looks funny without them

It's all personal preference! I like the looks and hand grip pos on the gen 1. Gen 2 is whole another style. Therefore, I only give 3 stars Hopefully the review helps for you to decide your next purchase of AK polymer handguard.
