The cheek piece provides the necessary raised height for the proper "cheek weld" when using optics on tubular folding stock equiped rifles. It is easy to install, lightweight, durable, and versatile - it works with other (tubular design) folding stocks (such as the ACE Riflestock folding stocks), as well as the FAL folding stock. Therefore this can be used with many rifles, which is a big plus.
