this product might work on an AK 47 but it will not fit a galil with out a lot of work. it tork 4 hours to file off enough material so it would lock down on the barrel properley.it is not a direct fit product,
Pros: the 4 rail system
Cons: needs alot of modifcation to install this on a galil
