Horrible customer service for incompatible caa micro-roni/mck - CAA Taurus G2C/G3/G3C Micro Conversion Kit

They don't fit the G3. I ordered one and no matter what I did, my G3 wouldn't fit it.

First off, the frame says it fits G3 & G3C. That should have been a red flag. The real trouble happened when I contacted customer support. The guy I talked with had to have dementia because he kept asking me over and over again if I inserted the gun in all the way and I kept telling him, "YES I did that!" This went on for like four days! He finally tells me that I have to modify the charging handle to make it fit over the slide. I asked him how is that possible when the charging handle was put inside the unit before it was assembled and there is no way it can be taken out now without sawing the unit in half?

No answer.

Finally, I said I want to return this for a refund. He said, "Ok, there will be a 20% restocking fee." I lost it. I started screaming at him, "Are you kidding me? A restocking fee for a defective product? And I have to pay for the return shipping as well? What kind of garbage is this?"

Long story short, I sent it back and took a $22 hit on the restocking fee after finally convincing him to pay for the return shipping. Since Optics Planet does not offer returns or exchanges for this conversion kit, I recommend that you think twice before ordering it. Now, it might fit a Taurus G3C, which if you happen to own one, you might get lucky.

The only downsides is that you're still stuck with the same "wonderful" customer service that I encountered should you need to contact them for any reason.
