Easy to mount, but could be an inch shorter allowing for room on the rail and reduced weight. It's a pretty big chunk of aluminum almost 1/2" thick all the all around. Probably stand up to a nuclear blast, but if you decide to shoot off hand and you're an average guy, it's going to get heavy fast. I'm thinking about shaving it down about 3/8" on each end.
Pros: Qualty build and prce
Cons: Weight
