My wife bought this for my birthday when I mentioned I was tired of bending down to pick up my brass at the range. When I first saw it, I was a little doubtful of its ability. Boy was I wrong. This works exactly as described. You run the cage over the brass and that's it.
It comes with a bucket attachment that pries the cage open so the cases come out but I find it's easier just to use my fingers. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who reloads!
