Bottom line is this works much better and is easier to setup than my previous chronograph.

I bought this to replace a

I was getting more errors from my previous chronograph than I thought I should have. To test it I fired 2 20 round boxes of 6.5 Creedmoor through both chronographs. For one 20 round box I had my old chronograph set up 10 feet from my barrel and the Caldwell a foot behind. I switched positions for the second 20 round box.

The Caldwell G2 registered velocity for all 40 rounds. The CE chrono displayed 7 errors during the 40 round test.
