Yet another disappointment from caldwell - Caldwell Clutch Shooting Rifle Sitting Bipod

For some reason, I really want to like Caldwell and keep giving them chances. I have one xla that is ok, but works loose and falls off every 3 rounds. A pic rail xla that hasn't worked since I received it, now this piece of garbage. I ordered it because I wanted something that would mount to a sling stud and not use the stupid pincher design that works loose and dumps a $2k rifle on the rocks. I bought this because it attaches like a sling swivel. Gee, what a novel idea. The thing is junk. The sling attachment is bent and won't close right. The nut to tension it doesn't tighten enough to hold it securely. Basically, Caldwell quality keeps getting worse. I'd be better off with a no name amazon brand.
