I live on acreage and have cobbled up many a shooting bench for myself and my kids and their kids.

They last until the weather comes in or I decide to move the targets/teaching areas around.

I have used a tripod with a rubberized 'v' adapter for hunting and used it from time to time for sighting in etc.

When I saw this product I thought I might have found a dual purpose solution.

It has really turned out well for my purposes:

once you assemble it, it is easy to use, adjust, and break down for transport.
it sets well in a ground blind for hunting as well as in the open for target/sighting in/practice.
I'm 5'11" 180lbs and am comfortable with long gun, crossbow, hunting revolver.
my youngest hunter (8yr old slip of a girl) is able to have her rifle held in good shooting position for her as well.

In summation, this product does the two things I wanted it to do.
Hunt in a blind with any of my allowed methods, then pack it up and use it as a sighting/target bench.

When I'm done, pack it into a corner of the shack out of the weather.
