Semi automatics with a floating barrel will not cycle correctly without a booster. It will work for a rimfire or a rifle but if the barrel moves as most striker fired handguns, you will need a booster to compensate for the he extra weight that's hanging off the end of your barrel. So if your suppressor doesn't cycle right you probably need a booster or the correct ammo must be subsonic!
Pros:
- Longer barrel means more velocity and more accuracy
Cons:
- Longer, harder to conceal

- Flash suppressor
