Cannon commander series co54 safe - Cannon Commander 54 48-Gun Heat Proof Rifle Safe

This safe was originally ordered December 1, 2013, and it is suppose to ship in 4-6 weeks from order date. This date came and passed without an email or phone call from Optics Planet on the status. Then 3 more weeks passed and not a word from them. In the event the safe was ready for shipment while I was away, I called Optics Planet and told them not to ship between certain dates due to an extended business trip starting at week 10. I explained no one would be at the address to accept delivery. The safe was ready to ship at week 11, but Optics Planet did not listen to my remarks and shipped the safe anyway. Once I got back into town and called Optics Planet about my order, I found out the safe was shipped back to the manufacturer since it couldn't be delivered. A new order was subsequently issued since the safe I purchased was used to fulfill someone else's order. My credit card got billed a second time, and the new price was higher than the original price. The first order wasn't refunded and the second order wasn't discounted to match the original pricing until after being on the phone for over 45 minutes and discussing the issue with a customer care supervisor. As of 4 and 1/2 months, I haven't received the safe or even an apology for the lack of support and professionalism. Now I am on round 2 of the safe being delivered and promised delivery dates have already slipped again. Fortunately, a neighbor will handle the delivery in my absence due to another extended business trip on my part, because I'm confident Optics Planet won't listen to my remarks about holding the safe between certain dates, assuming it becomes available while I'm away. To top it off, this forum entry, as solicited from Optics Planet from an automated email, is suppose to be an opportunity for me to provide feedback for how I like my product. Yet I haven't even seen it. Buyer beware! I recommend finding a local company that charges a little more, but have it delivered next day from someone you met face to face.
